With the end to the Brexit transition period rapidly approaching, you will be armed and informed to make a smooth transition to “business as usual” on the 1 January 2021.

There will be an impressive range of speakers with over 100 combined years of experience in International Trade & Customs, as well as some guest speakers who will provide you with some further industry insight.

The first of a two part series, KPMG will provide you with a current update regarding the negotiations and discussions between the UK and EU, including the direction of travel and what this really means in practical terms for businesses importing into the UK. An area of interest is the significant emphasis placed on origin, which forms the core of the proposed agreement to eliminate duties. The key question will be whether EU or UK manufactured goods will meet the definition of “originating”.
