The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) is seeking to appoint a successor for its London office with effect from 1 January 2027:
Director UK & Ireland (m/f/d)
The position will be based at our London branch office, the German National Tourist Office, with a British employment contract.
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the British and Irish source markets.
In coordination with our Head Office, you will develop the strategic approach to marketing, sales and public relations, with a strong emphasis on digital expertise, and will be responsible for its operational implementation. You will combine a consistent focus on delivering results with a strong understanding of the needs of our industry partners. You will be highly familiar with modern cross-marketing, online advertising and public-private partnership (PPP) strategies.
Applicants should hold a university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Tourism Management or a related discipline. You will have several years of professional experience in a prominent senior leadership position within marketing or tourism, gained either with an internationally operating organisation or a destination marketing organisation. Professional experience abroad, together with an in-depth understanding of the tourism industry and structures in Germany and the UK and Ireland, is essential.
