Please join us for the Spring Reception in Edinburgh on 24 April 2018. The event will see The Rt Hon Angus Robertson, Former Leader of the SNP in the House of Commons, as guest speaker. Our Spring Reception in Edinburgh is the perfect opportunity to connect with industry experts and local contacts in the region. The event will focus on the post-Brexit economic impact and how the current climate is affecting Scottish businesses.
Angus Robertson was born in Wimbledon, London, to a Scottish father and a German mother. He was raised in Edinburgh and speaks fluent German. Mr Robertson graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an MA Honours degree in politics and international relations. After university he embarked on a journalistic career, and worked as a foreign and diplomatic correspondent in Central Europe for the BBC World Service, and then for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF.
Angus Robertson was the Deputy Leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and was the party's spokesperson on the Constitution in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
