Black tie dinner of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce
The Annual Dinner is the flagship event of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce and a great opportunity to meet and connect with new and existing business contacts.
The Annual Dinner gathers around 200 senior executives of the German-British business community and is the not-to-be-missed event in 2019. It will take place at the majestic Drapers' Hall, one of London's twelve great historic livery companies, located in the heart of the City. Our Guest of Honour and Speaker will be Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference. Wolfgang Ischinger was the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2006 to May 2008 and the German Ambassador to the United States from 2001 to 2006. From 1998 to 2001 he served as the German Deputy Foreign Minister and he has been Chairman of the Munich Security Conference since 2008. Ambassador Ischinger is Senior Professor for Security Policy and Diplomatic Practice at the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tuebingen. He is also a member of the Executive Board for the European Leadership Network (ELN).
