Changes to data protection after the end of the transition period

At the end of the transition period, the UK will become a ‘third country’ under the GDPR with far-reaching implications for data protection. If you haven’t already started to think about the action that you should take, you need to do so as soon as possible in order to minimise any potential disruption to your business.

This webinar, with keynote speakers Lesley O’Neill and Dr Evelyne Sørensen from activeMind.legal, will guide you through the key issues you need to address including:

  • What action you need to take relating to data protection and data transfers to the EU/EEA from 1 January 2021.
  • What legislation will govern data protection in the UK.
  • What action you need to take relating to data protection and data transfers to countries outside of the EU/EEA from 1 January 2021.
  • What other changes you need to act on.

The webinar will also provide an opportunity for you to raise questions including those that you may have regarding the EU Withdrawal Agreement.
