There have been significant changes to the UK immigration system this year and further changes are expected under the new government.

Pam Sidhu, Partner & Head of Business Immigration at Wilkes, will provide an update together with colleague Satinder Gill, senior specialist immigration barrister at Five Paper Chambers.

We will look at the recent changes to the UK immigration system and the impact on the immigration routes open to German businesses. We will consider the latest position on topics including:

• Short-term and long-term UK visits
• UK sponsorship routes
• Sponsorship duties and how to maintain your UK sponsor licence
• New Electronic Travel Authorisation scheme
• Labour government - possible policy changes

There will be an approximate 20-25 minute presentation, followed by a detailed case study. As part of the presentation and case study, we will look at how we have navigated solutions for many German businesses on both short term and long term projects in the UK. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.
