The UK Government and the Department for International Business and Trade have launched a new digital service for companies looking to invest and expand in the UK.
The portal called “Expand Your Business in the UK” is a free, easy-to-use service for companies planning to grow in the UK. It is a 2- minute step by step service with immediate access to tailored information on how set up a business in the UK. Companies can use it to:
- Guide them through the practical steps to establish a business in the UK, like setting up a company, opening a bank account, visa advice in an easy checklist format
- Find out about UK funding, grants and incentives on offer to you
- Identify the right location and staff for their business
- Access information on UK events, networks relevant for specific business sectors, and links to contacts to support the UK expansion.
- Understand how to globally scale their business through the UK’s free trade agreements and access export advice once they have established their business in the UK.
The service is run and managed by the UK Government Department for Business and Trade which is looking forward to supporting you and your business to succeed in the UK.
